For this recipe we used some delicious paprika infused pasta and paired it with one of the Spain’s most famous dishes : gambas al ajillo or ‘garlic prawns’. Deliciously filling, you get to enjoy a tapa taste in a big pasta dish. Obviously you can use whatever macaroni you can find or another type of pasta of your choice.

Ingredients
- 250g macaroni
- 250g fresh peeled prawns
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 or 2 cayenne chili peppers
- 250ml white wine
- 1 tbsp dried herbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring some water to a boil in a saucepan and then add the pasta and cook according to the guidelines until ‘al dente’. Typically between 7-10 minutes.
- In a frying pan add the olive oil and set on a medium heat. Slice your garlic and then add it to the pan and cook it for a couple of minutes.
- Next add the wine and cayenne chilis and cook for another couple of minutes. Then add the prawns.
- When the prawns start to colour and their flesh turns white and red, add some paprika. Stir for a while and then turn off the heat.
- Mix the garlic prawns with the pasta, along with all the juice from the wine and prawns. Garnish with dried herbs of your choice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
